I lost my version of Photoshop when my dad did something strange to our computer. (my father and I try to keep him away from electronic devises, they always meet bad ends if he gets too close to them but we weren't vigilant enough and now... *sigh*)

Are there any programs out there (preferably free) that will work as decent alternatives?
